最近想試一下Windows PE(簡易的視窗系統)的功能，因此也下載了許多工具和收集一些相關的資料，在下載的檔案裡，有一個映像檔格式為*.img，這個影像檔主要是為了製作Windows PE 2.0(Windows Vista系列用的Windows PE)，先前當然是想看一下他裡面的內容是甚麼，所以就想將她掛載在虛擬光碟機上來使用，所以就將現有的虛擬光碟機去瀏覽裡面的內容，但是原先的虛擬光碟系統都沒有支援這個格式的映像檔，所以就利用網路來搜尋可以打開並瀏覽這個檔案的工具，幸運的找到Magic ISO Maker這個軟體可以支援並打開這個檔案，可是將這個檔案可是有800MG的大小，全部解開來也相當費時且又消耗掉不少磁碟的空間，好在這個公司也有一個程式那就是MagicDisc，MagicDisc可以和Magic ISO Maker搭配使用，而且他也支援*.img這個格式的映像檔。當然他也支援一般的映像檔如常用的*.iso、*.nrg等格式的映像檔，當然最重要的是他是一個免費的應用程式。
